This puppy came to be part of our family as a direct result of my daughter’s outstanding behavior (and grades) throughout the entire school year.  She managed to not only get straight A’s, but she excelled at being an example for other students by always following directions, not speaking out of line, and her overall attitude in general.  I told her about mid-way through the year that if she continued on this path until the end of the year she would get a BIG surprise.  I fully didn’t intend it would lead to this kind of a surprise, but you never utter the words “puppy” around a child unless you plan to follow through…and we did.  (Next year, it will be ice cream!!) HAHAHAHA

Meet Bailey! He currently weighs 4.6lbs and won’t reach 10!  He’s just a little booger who gets along remarkably well with our 90lb. lab.

can you hear me now?!

99% of the time he has one ear drooped.  swoon.

this image was taken in my unfinished home office.  That wall in particular will be a wonderful hue of green.  I’m currently on a vacation from painting, hehehe.

and, the image I shared on my Facebook Page….don’t you just want to put your hands on him and fluff his hair back and forth?!

He’s such a wonderful addition to our family. You might think we’re a little crazy bringing home a puppy to our new home…right?!…he’s doing SO well.  He goes outside to potty, sleeps through the night in his crate and never leaves my daughters side.
