The decision to become a dog photographer started over a French Toast bagel and cup of coffee.  With enough dreaming and non-stop chatter of photographing what I truly loved, the wheels were put in motion to make it a reality.  Little by little galleries of high school seniors, giggly children, and newborns were vanished from the website.  I won’t lie, it felt awkward at first breaking the norm of what other photographers were doing.  I was now “a dog photographer.” So, with a camera bag packed with faux bacon treats, a few squeaky toys, and a lot of wet wipes…Beth McHenry Photography was rebranded.

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever…it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
